Join us for practice and exploration, inspired by wisdom teachings. The five Kleśa-s are the yogic teaching of obstacles we all encounter which create suffering in our lives. Simply translated as lack of knowing, false identification, desire, aversion, and fear, these common challenges are often the ones we most reject in our own experience. They are the root underneath so much of our troubles, but we rarely make space for them in our quest for self improvement.
At the same time, yoga teaches us that what heals is relationship, and therefore encourages us to come into conversation with our difficulties. In this series, we will explore one kleśa per month, as well as tools for our body, mind and breath which allow us to include more in our practice, so our healing path can be deep and profound. With this, we build trust in our capacity, in how the whole of our humanity can help us through the art of being a human.
