What does it mean to deepen your practice? We could view this path as seeing more and feeling more. As students and teachers of Yoga, we continue to navigate our relationship with ourselves and one another through practice. This journey is dynamic and unique to the individual. It demands its own sacred time for discovery. In this workshop, we will explore both the physical and subtle applications of observation. We will explore anatomical and breath components of asana through the lens of seeing and feeling, going beyond the form of the posture to explore it's experiential function, it's relationship to our range of motion, to concepts of tension and compression around our joints, and a sense of movement and space in the body. We will build the skill of observation inward and outward and discover how different bodies respond to asanas, and in turn dig deeper into how yoga can bring out what is unique and truthful in ourselves.
